I was involved in two other blog projects some months ago, and I never had time to check in here. I assume the same goes for our other Sheptalk regulars from time to time. I've got so much stuff sitting around that I'd like to post---as well as a possible new member that I grew up with on Magoun Avenue in Woodmar---so I intend to keep posting as time allows. I enjoy sharing memories with fellow Regionites, and even though we each have our own unique experiences to relate, each message we post contributes something interesting to the overall chronicle of our lives and times that has been established here. I think it's important to keep it going, even though the "real world" seems to keep interfering in our lives and demanding our time and attention. 07-31-2011 ( Reply#: 6765 )	HassoBenSoba	Tom51-- Go to the 2nd Page of topics here on Sheptalk (there are 5 pages) and find the topic "How to Post Pictures". It should help. Here's what I do: 1.) Save your pics in your picture or document file on your computer. 2.) Go to PHOTOBUCKET.com and establish an account or "album" (it's free). 3.) Upload to Photobucket the pics from your computer (all you have to do is click the green "upload" button on Photobucket; you can then add title and description to your pics as you build your Photobucket "album"). 4.) Make sure that the Photobucket site is easy to access---I keep it as one of my "favorites." When you're ready to post on Sheptalk, sign on to your Photobucket album/account first, so that it's ready to go. 5.) Go to Sheptalk and start a new post in the blue and white field. Keep the blank field ready, then go to Photobucket (using the "Favorites" drop-down menu) and find the pic you want to post. Use your cursor to "copy" the little IMG code at the bottom of the code chart under the pic (it's the last of the 4 codes displayed). I have to slowly "swipe" the code from RIGHT to LEFT with the cursor; the word "copied" appears. 6.) Go back to the Sheptalk blue-and white message field (hopefully it will still be there waiting for you). "Paste" (or use CTRL V) to place the picture's IMG code in the message field. Then add your text/message around the picture code. (Note: I always import the picture from Photobucket to Sheptalk first, THEN write my message in the field around it---because sometimes you lose the message when you go back & forth from Photobucket and have to write the whole damned thing over again. So I'd suggest PICTURE first, then TEXT.) You can then PREVIEW the whole thing, and see how gorgeous your picture looks in the message, then Post it. This might seem complicated at first (and maybe some others can add more handy hints), but if you play around with it a bit, it's pretty easy to figure out. I'm not that computer-savvy, and I'm able to do it. LR
