Had to straighten out Scott Shannon Date: 12-14-2009 By: Tom J	Did any of you hear Scott Shannon on the True Oldies network mention my name and tell the listeners how I straightened him out on the name of the real town that was the setting for "A Christmas Story?" Scott said something over the air that indicated that he thought the real name of our hometown was "Hohman, Indiana," like in the movie. I sent him an Email to tell him that the name of the town was "Hammond, Indiana," even though it was called "Hohman, Indiana," in the movie. Tomster	2

Tomster Scott Shannon has a syndicated show that is picked up by many Oldies stations around the country. WLS-FM broadcasts his show when they are not live with their own programming. My local Oldies station is live from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, but they broadcast Shannon's show the rest of the time. Check out http://www.trueoldieschannel.com and you should be able to find out if there is a station in your area that carries Scott Shannon. You can listen to the show via Internet stream, if nothing else. Tom P.S. I believe Dick Biondi is "still at it" week nights on WLS-FM. I haven't tuned-in to his show for a good while now, but he was going strong last I heard.
