Problems Logging onto this site??? Date: 05-20-2008 By: duane	Is it just me, or are the rest of you having problems getting to this site. Most of the time, I can't log in and my browser just times out. When I do get in, it usually takes a couple of minutes to get here, and then it takes forever going between different forums. Since it seems like nobody's posted for about 5 days, I assume the rest of you have been having trouble too. Also, sometimes I get an Microsoft error, which kicks me off the internet completely, and it only happens when I'm on this site. Is there anything the site manager can do to fix this?	6

05-21-2008 ( Reply#: 2048 )	Tom J	Same problems here, Duane. For just about as long as I have been coming here, there has been a very slow log-in; sometimes a timeout occurs before I get logged in. It has taken long times for pages to load, too. I think all these are symptoms of band width problems, but I am no expert on that. That's when too many people are trying to use the same server. We are few in number here at Sheptalk, but what else is on our server? Something that gets a lot of traffic, probably. Lately, though, I have been unable to get in at all, and often an error message would pop up right away. Hopefully that is fixed now. 05-30-2008 ( Reply#: 2060 )	Tom J	Let's hope this is really a "fix" and not just one of those periods when the pages load quickly for some unknown reason. It has been my experience over the two or three years that I have been coming here that sometimes the pages load very quickly, and sometimes they load so slowly that I get "time outs." Most of the time, the pages have loaded much slower than would be true for the other websites I regularly visit. Regardless of whether there has been a "fix" or not, we all certainly do owe Mr. Clavin a debt of gratitude for providing these forums for our use. Thank you, Jim!
