George's Pinbowlerama Date: 04-11-2007 By: wvcogs	Over a year ago I posted the following on a different topic on the Shep Forum: "In the 1950s the bowling alley at 6716 Kennedy Avenue was called Pin Bowl Recreation. It is interesting to speculate if this could have been expanded by Shep to 'George's Pinbowlerama.'" Information that I saw just recently from a late 1940s or early 1950s Hammond directory -- I have just the one page for another purpose so no date -- shows the name of the bowling alley at 6716 Kennedy Avenue as George Beslich Bowling. Former Hessvillite Morton Graduate 1960 Ken, I saw the picture you either posted or linked to and I set pins at that or another bowling alley on Kennedy in the fifties, the pay was 11 cents a line and my pay went right into the pinball machines in the bowling alley.
